Workforce Development

East Mississippi Community College (EMCC) provides a comprehensive Associate’s degree/workforce development education in Mayhew, only 10 miles from West Point. EMCC’s Center for Manufacturing Technology Excellence is the state’s model for tailoring workforce training to meet the needs of current and future industries. The staff is innovative and takes seriously its mission to serve industry in this area. A newly renovated facility will allow EMCC to bring classes and training directly to the West Point area.
