Transportation

Overland
Excellent four-lane highways approach Clay County from all directions. 
Highways 82 and 45 Alternate provide uncrowded access to facilities. Highway
82 is built to interstate standards. 

Rail
A vast network of rail systems is in place specifically to serve local industries.

Water
The Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway connects the Tennessee River to the Tombigbee-Black Warrior River system creating a water passage from mid America to the Gulf of Mexico. 
West Point has its own port.

Air
West Point is served by a small commuter airstrip and Golden Triangle Regional Airport (GTR), 20 minutes away. Commercial service is provided at GTR.
